Thermal Steel Doorsets

With the reduction of energy consumption becoming a major consideration, energy efficient buildings demand that running costs be kept to a minimum.  Our range of thermal steel doorsets are designed specifically for such applications and satisfy the higher thermal insulations stipulated within the Approved Documents Parts L2A & L2B of The Building Regulations - 'Conservation of fuel and power'.

All doorsets are supplied with mineral wool backfilled frames, frame seals and low profile SAA thresholds as standard to satisfy air permeability and thermal requirements.  Double-glazed vision panels are also available to special order incorporating low emissivity glass to reduce heat loss.

Standards & Testing Thermal transmittance simulated by computer modelling and certified in accordance with BS EN ISO 10077-1 by Chiltern Dynamics BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 (Quality Management System) Can be fire rated in accordance with BS 476 Part 22 and sealed to prevent smoke passage and air leakage in accordance with BS 5588.
