Ingersoll Rand thermal steel doorsets are designed specifically for applications where energy efficiency is a major consideration.
All doorsets are supplied with mineral wool backfilled frames, frame seals and low profile SAA thresholds as standard to satisfy air permeability and thermal requirements. In fact, Ingersoll Rand thermal doorsets satisfy the higher thermal insulations stipulated within the Approved Documents Parts L2A & L2B of the Building Regulations – ‘Conservation of fuel and power’.
Double-glazed vision panels are also available to special order incorporating low emissivity glass to reduce heat loss.

- Thermal transmittance simulated by computer modelling and certified in accordance with BS ENISO 10077-1 by Chiltern Dynamics.
- BS EN ISO 900: 2000 (Quality Management System).
- Can be fire rated in accordance with BS 476 Part 22 and sealed to prevent smoke passage and air leakage in accordance with BS 5588.
