EU regulations state that a final exit door must be fitted with a securing device which provides the occupants of a building with a safe and effective means of escape, with minimum effort and without the use of a key.

The Briton 560 & 570 Series' panic exit hardware have been designed to offer a modular panic exit solution using a system of supplementary vertical rods and pullman latches which can be used to create single to multi-point latching on single or double door configurations; all of which confirm to the requirements of EN 1125.
